MetaTrader 5 — How to set up broker auto sync
Automatically import trades from your MetaTrader 5 (MT5) account into TradeReview using your account credentials.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- A TradeReview account with an active Pro subscription
- A MetaTrader 5 account with your broker
- Your MT5 server name, login (account number), and password (investor/read-only password is recommended)
Connect MetaTrader 5
Section titled “Connect MetaTrader 5”Step 1: Open the Broker Sync page in TradeReview, or click the + button in the sidebar and choose Broker Sync.
Step 2: Click Add new broker.
Step 3: Select MetaTrader 5 from the broker list.
Step 4: Choose Live or Demo under Account type.
Step 5: Enter your MT5 credentials:
- Server — your broker’s MT5 server name (for example,
BrokerName-Live) - Login — your MT5 account number
- Password — your MT5 account password or investor password
Step 6: Click Add broker. TradeReview validates your credentials and starts the initial sync.
How sync works
Section titled “How sync works”- Scheduled sync: TradeReview syncs MT5 trades every hour.
- History: On first connect, TradeReview imports your full account trade history.
- Incremental syncs: Subsequent syncs fetch recent trades from the last few days to stay up to date.
Manage your connection
Section titled “Manage your connection”On the Broker Sync page you can:
- View Last sync and Next sync for each linked account
- Click Resync now to trigger a manual sync (available once every 15 minutes)
- Click Fix if the connection status shows Broken (for example, after a password change) and re-enter your credentials

Alternative: file upload
