How to add trades
TradeReview supports several ways to record activity. Pick the path that matches how you trade; you can mix methods on the same account.
Choose a method
Section titled “Choose a method”1. Broker sync (recommended when available)
Section titled “1. Broker sync (recommended when available)”Connect a supported broker so trades sync automatically.
- Open + in the side menu and choose Link Broker, or go to Add trade — Broker.

2. CSV / file upload
Section titled “2. CSV / file upload”Export trades from your platform, then import the file.
- Open + → Import, or visit Add trade — Import.
- Generic CSV: Importing trades via generic CSV.
- Platform-specific guides live under Import trades in the sidebar (Interactive Brokers, TradingView, Webull, MetaTrader, Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and more).
3. Manual trade entry
Section titled “3. Manual trade entry”Log a trade by hand when sync or CSV is not available, or when you want full control over tags and executions.
- Open + → Manual, or visit Add trade — Manual.

4. Cash transactions
Section titled “4. Cash transactions”Record deposits and withdrawals so account balance stays accurate.
- Open + → Cash, or visit Add trade — Cash.

After you add trades
Section titled “After you add trades”- Check the Dashboard for summary metrics.
- Open a trade from Trades to review notes, tags, and executions.
- Use Reports to dig into performance.
