Creating and managing strategies
How to use this page
Section titled “How to use this page”Open Strategies (Strategies). Strategies are named setups you can assign on each trade so performance stats stay grouped by playbook — not only by ad-hoc tags.
Create a strategy
Section titled “Create a strategy”- Open Strategies and choose New strategy.
- Fill in:
- Name
- Description (short summary of the setup)
- Color and Icon (optional visual identity)
- Save. The strategy appears in your list. Strategy limits depend on your membership.
Strategy rules (Basic and Pro)
Section titled “Strategy rules (Basic and Pro)”On a strategy detail page, open the Rules tab to define structured rules (sections, points, and when each point should appear). Full walkthrough: Strategy rules.
Once a point has been checked on any trade, its Show when setting is locked so historical adherence stays consistent.
On trade detail, after you assign a strategy, open the Strategy tab and check the points you followed.
Manage the list
Section titled “Manage the list”- Open a strategy to view stats, trades, rules, and notes
- Edit name, description, or appearance
- Delete strategies you no longer use (assign trades elsewhere first if you still need their history under another label)
Assign strategies to trades
Section titled “Assign strategies to trades”On trade detail, use the strategy selector in the sidebar. You can also unlink a strategy from a trade when the assignment was wrong.
Strategies vs tags
Section titled “Strategies vs tags”- Strategies — durable named setups with dedicated performance views and optional rules
- Tags — flexible labels (mistakes, emotions, one-off notes) — Tags and categories
Many traders use both: strategy for the setup, tags for context.
